The Nominating Committee of the Northern California Chapter of URISA (NorCal URISA) is seeking nominations for the 2009-2010 Board. Elections will be held this Spring for the following positions: PRESIDENT-ELECT (Vice-President)  SECRETARY TREASURER                                 MEMBER AT LARGE (2)

Nomination Process ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NorCal URISA members may nominate any NorCal URISA member in good standing.  To nominate a person, email the required information required to Cindy Starr (CindyStarr@norcalurisa.org).  Self nominations are welcome.  Nominees will be contacted by the committee to verify acceptance. Nominees will be encouraged to prepare a brief bio. This will also include a brief statement on why they would like to serve on the Board. Nominations close April 15th.  Voting on Nominations for Board members ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Voting will be via the web and is expected to be completed by the end of April.
